Windsurfing in Sri Lanka is not confined to its beaches. Coastal lagoons too are popular among tourists bent on windsurfing in Sri Lanka. Some of the lagoons in the South-western and Southern coastal belt of Sri Lanka afford year round opportunities to enjoy this activity.
